Pirate Queen: Sailing the Black Flag Seas

The squeals of delight were deafening when the game “began”

Ahoy, mateys! Bootstrap Ginny here, taking the morning to share with ye my adventures of the last day or so down in the Caribbean courtesy of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced video game! HUZZAH!

First, as expected, the game is GORGEOUS! I mean, beautiful like the sea at sunset after a perfect plunder. See for yerself:

Sunset after the perfect escape and stealing the Jackdaw from the Spanish knaves!

There’s jungle climbin’, chasin’, leapin’, and more than one moment where I nearly tumbled headfirst into the underbrush.

Up, up, up! The jungles of the Caribbean are hot and lush…and full of treasure!

A fine reunion with old mates awaited me in Nassau — at The Avery, no less.

The Avery, the ingame tavern in Nassau where you hang with Anne Bonny, Blackbeard, and Ben Hornigold.

Ben Hornigold! Blackbeard! James Kidd!

Looky there! Edward Thatch! Ben Hornigold! James Kidd! My old mates!

And PETS, ye scallywags! Aye, not just “pet the kitty” and give ’em a cuddle (though ye can do that, too). You get a proper shipmate — a pet that sails with ye and lounges on deck as you cut across the waves. HUZZAH!

This guy is the REAL captain of the Jackdaw!

I’ve got to get back to sailin’ the waters, mateys — there’s treasure yet to be found! Next time, I’ll share the hideout details, because this… THIS… is one OUTRAGEOUS pirate hideout.

Til next time, Fair Winds!

Bootstrap Ginny raises her tankard! Huzzah!

To the ghosts that guide us, the storms that test us, and the gold that waits for those who dare — may our ink never run dry and our courage never fade. Raise your tankards, mates… for the sea still remembers our names.
